A long-time fan of words and character-induced feelings, Emily London holds a BA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in English/creative writing and an MA in publishing from Rosemont College. She currently writes for Girls in Capes out of northern Virginia and works full-time as a bookseller in the children & teens department at Politics & Prose Bookstore in Washington, D.C. Her areas of interest include YA science fiction and fantasy, LGBT+ lit, and manga.
A long-time guest reviewer turned full-time staff, Emi’s first article was Forget the Perfect Draft: Forging Through NaNoWriMo for Fantasy & Sci-Fi Writers, published in November 2013. She’s now GiC’s Yuri Reviewer and channels her passion for lady/lady kisses into writing recommendations for the site.
When not reading or watching anime, she spends time watching monster movies, researching Walt Disney World history, eating s’mores, and training unpopular Pokémon (the ugly ones need love, too). You can stalk her on Twitter, her writing blog, Instagram, or her Goodreads.
