The release party at Quail Ridge Books last night was AMAZING! Jam-packed with hundreds of fans, everyone decked out in their best HP gear, and activities galore throughout the newly opened store in Raleigh, NC.
My personal favorite parts:
- The enthusiastic (and sarcastic) Potions Master who did multiple performances with audience participation and a take-away potion for all guests.
- The live owls brought in by the Piedmont Wildlife Center!
- The live snakes and natural science artifacts, supplied by the NC Herpetological Society and the NC Museum of Natural Sciences.
- And of course, a live performance from the Blibbering Humdingers! My favorite song was “No Shame in Hufflepuff.”
