Join Girls in Capes for our fourth annual Holiday Book Swap at Main Point Books! We’ll be meeting on Saturday, December 9 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Bring one book to swap wrapped in Blind Book Date style: cover a book in holiday paper and write on the cover some bullet points about the book. (Not familar with Blind Book Dates? Check out Blind Date with a Book for ideas.)
The best swaps are books that might be something we would read as part of the Girls in Capes Book Club: YA or adult science fiction, fantasy, horror, or other speculative fiction, especially featuring a protagonist who’s female, POC, or LGBTQ.
There will be food and other bookish giveaways! Girls in Capes will also provide snacks, so make sure to RSVP on Facebook or Meetup so we know how much food to have prepared! If you have questions, let us know in the comments.
